What we haul
Household junk, garage and attic clutter, old mattresses and box springs, yard debris, broken exercise equipment, storage-unit leftovers, and the pile in the corner that has been there long enough to have a name. If you are not sure whether something counts, send a photo and we will tell you straight.
How the visit actually goes
We look at the pile, give you the number before anything moves, and only start once you say go. Most single-load jobs are done inside an hour or two. You do not need to be there the whole time as long as we can reach the items.
Where it ends up
Anything with life left goes to donation or gets recycled rather than buried. Metal, appliances and cardboard get separated out. The rest goes to the transfer station. It is less landfill, and it is part of how we keep our rates reasonable.
What we cannot take
There is a short list. Hazardous material, chemicals, wet paint, solvents, asbestos, tyres in quantity and medical waste all have to go through a licensed disposal route rather than a junk truck, and handing them to us would only move the problem. We will tell you on the spot if something falls into that category, and we can usually point you at who does take it. We also do not do furniture moving -- if you want an item carried to another room or another house rather than taken away, that is a mover's job, not ours.
Single items and full properties
The size of the job does not change how it works. A single mattress on a Tuesday and a four-bedroom house being emptied over two days both get the same visit, the same up-front number and the same sweep at the end. Small jobs are worth calling about even if you assume they are too small to bother us with, because we are often already working nearby and can collect on the way past.
Working around your schedule
Most people do not want a crew in the house all day. Tell us the window that suits you and we will work to it. If the items are reachable from a garage, a yard or a porch you do not have to be home at all -- plenty of our jobs run off a phone call at the start and a text with photos when we are finished.
